To the women shaping the future—this one's for you.
Every day, across rural communities in Central America, a quiet revolution is taking place, and women are leading it. As Community Educators and Literacy Content Creators, women are rewriting what’s possible for children who dream of a brighter future.
We at Project Alianza operate on a simple truth - when women lead and girls thrive, communities thrive. Education is the most powerful tool for change, and no one understands this better than the women who stand at the front of classrooms, mentor young girls, and create the resources that make learning possible.
Through their work, school dropout rates are decreasing, and hope is rising. They are mentors, advocates, and changemakers, ensuring that children, especially girls, stay in school and reach their full potential. Their dedication and work fuels AnGo, our innovative learning app designed to bring literacy education to millions of children. Without their expertise, creativity, and passion, this game-changing resource wouldn’t exist.

Their impact is undeniable. A young girl who once thought higher education was out of reach now has a mentor who shows her it’s possible. A child struggling to read now has access to tools that will open doors for a lifetime. A classroom once at risk of being empty is now full of eager learners.
This International Women’s Day, we celebrate them. Their leadership. Their brilliance. Their unwavering commitment to education and equity.
Let’s show them our love. Sign the pledge to support women in education, or purchase a tote bag—each one provides a month of support for a girl on scholarship.
Because when women lead, communities rise.
