This experience takes adventurers deep into Guatemala to meet the women, leaders, and students that Alianza works with. You can go beyond the reach of tourism.
We'll start out in Guatemala City for an overview of history and culture, before venturing deep into rural Guatemala to visit our partner villages. We'll learn from the Alianza Community Educators, women that lead education in their villages, and do activities with students designed to build cross-cultural connection.
Next, we'll spend a few days exploring Lake Atitlán, an ancient lake surrounded by volcanoes, including expeditions into nature and cultural activities.
