Introducing AnGo: A Free Educational App to Improve Literacy in Central America

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide educational opportunities to children in rural areas of Central America, we have developed a free educational app called AnGo in collaboration with Brooktrout Partners, a Maryland-based technology consulting firm, and the Boston consulting firm Bain & Company.

This app, which will be available on Apple and Android app stores, aims to improve literacy rates by engaging students as young as four years old through interactive video games and tracking their progress. We are thrilled to be a part of the global effort to increase literacy rates and provide better educational opportunities to children in need.

Read on in The Boston Globe to learn more about the development and upcoming release of the AnGo app (if you come up against a paywall, close the link and hit refresh).

“The primary ingredient for any long term development is education,” Henry Lewin, innovation advisor and CEO of Green Rush, an ecological park in Guatemala.
