On March 23, 2023, the Rutgers University Latin American Student Organization (L.A.S.O.) hosted its annual Mr. and Ms. Latino Pageant.

This was a special evening, as it brought together members of the Latine community to show their support for the contestants, raise donations and raise awareness for Project Alianza. As a nonprofit organization with team members from Latin America creating gender and educational equity in villages across Nicaragua and Guatemala, we were delighted to know so many people came out to have a fun night celebrating the Latine community!
