Every kid deserves a safe and quality learning environment.
Project Alianza works with large Nicaraguan coffee farms either to build new schools or to improve existing infrastructure. Through this alliance, we create quality schools that provide education to the children who need it most.
We work with communities who have demonstrated a deep commitment to education.
We develop public-private partnerships by asking large coffee estate farms to donate land for a primary school and then working with the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education to staff that school.
Nicaraguans design and build each school. Community volunteers help carry supplies and provide food for the construction workers. With our support, communities shape the dream of a good primary school into a reality.
